FairyVenture

Apr. 2015 - Jun. 2015
FairyVenture is 3D multi-player running game, inspired by the famous game "Temple Run". But the difference is that we add networking to change it to a multiplayer game and add fighting to make it more interesting.

Your goal is to attack others as well as collect coins when you are running. When the game time‘s out, the player who has highest score wins.

MULTIPLAYER:
  • FairyVenture is a multiplayer game, one player set up the server and others can search the server and join in, and then the host can find each other automatically.
  • Make sure that all the players should be in the same LAN.
  • You can test the game by yourself; you can start the server and then play. But as it’s a multiplayer game, you will lose most of the fun by playing yourself.
RUN:
  • Always press Up Arrow to run; the game mechanism is to keep players running.
  • Use Left and Right Arrow keys to turn around. (Up Arrow is also needed.)
  • Press left "Shift" to sprint and "Space" to jump. When your energy goes out, you can’t sprint at that time.
ATTACK:
  • Use ‘A’, ‘S’, ‘D’ to launch different attacks.
  • ‘A’ is for the left hand, ‘D’ is for the right hand, and ‘S’ is to throw something.
